The Timmins Police Service is hoping to spark fresh leads on a man who went missing more than a year ago.
The TPS is seeking the public’s assistance with a case involving a missing person reported to them in August 2017.
Christopher James Rivers, 45, of Porcupine, was reported as missing by his family and “this case remains an open file with the Timmins Police Service,” police said in a release issued Wednesday.
“Extensive resources in terms of manpower and other investigative measures have been deployed by the Timmins Police Service and despite these efforts, the whereabouts of this missing person have yet to be determined.
“With this in mind, the Timmins Police Service – Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in terms of any viable information, no matter how trivial, that could prove to be useful in regards to this investigation.”
