Lethbridge Police continue to investigate the strange disappearance of Marshal Iwaasa, who was last seen two years ago today.

Relatives reported him missing on Nov. 17, 2019, as he told his family he would be leaving Lethbridge, Alta to return to home to Calgary, but he has not been seen or heard from since.

Some time later his truck was found burned out along a logging road in the backcountry of Pemberton.

Police have searched the area multiple times without success, but a new search is anticipated for the Spring of 2022.

Iwaasa who was 26 at the time of his disappearance is described as 5’11, about 170 lbs. with brown eyes, shoulder-length brown hair – usually worn tied back – and a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, black pants, red hi-top shoes and a grey toque.

His truck is described as a dark blue 2009 GMC Sierra, bearing license plate BLL-1099.

Police are still following up with all leads and tips as they are received, anyone with information is asked to contact the Lethbridge Police Station at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Marshal has been listed with the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains (NCMPUR).
