UPDATE: The Woodstock Police Service says 30-year-old Karen Cunningham has been located deceased.
No details have been released and police are asking everyone to respect her family’s privacy at this difficult time. Officers would also like to thank everyone who assisted in the investigation.
Woodstock Police closed off the area of Sixth Ave and Mill Street for several hours, but the area has since reopened.

WOODSTOCK, ON (February 3, 2023) – On February 2, 2023 the Woodstock Police Service initiated a missing person investigation in attempt to locate 30-year-old Karen CUNNINGHAM. As a result of the ongoing investigation and the public’s assistance, Ms. Cunningham has been located deceased.
The Woodstock Police Service would like to thank those who have assisted in the investigation and ask that the family’s privacy be respected during this time.
The Sixth Avenue and Mill Street area roads have been reopened, however the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
