During the late evening hours of Friday, April 19th, a young male pedestrian was accosted by a male party at the intersection of Kimberley and Elm Street South.

The suspect is alleged to have tried to force the young pedestrian into his vehicle.

The pedestrian managed to resist these efforts and broke free and made his way to safety.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 40 years old, with short dark hair, a long nose, and a long skinny face.

The vehicle he was driving is described as a dark-colored or black Jeep SUV with the spare tire mounted on the back of the vehicle and blueish headlights.

This matter remains an open investigation with the Timmins Police Service and public assistance is being sought to identify the suspect.
