Search Resumes for Missing Comox Valley Woman Ashley Bosma
Comox Valley RCMP have once again deployed search teams to the remote area near Comox Lake where 40-year-old Ashley Bosma was last known to be camping.
Ashley was last seen on October 14, 2025 and was reported missing on October 16, 2025. She had been staying alone near a small lake at the east end of Comox Lake.
An extensive initial search – involving police, search-and-rescue volunteers from Comox Valley and Campbell River, canine units, and air support – was launched immediately after the report but did not locate her.
On Wednesday, search resources returned to the same area. While the RCMP has not disclosed the exact reason for the renewed effort, Comox Valley Search and Rescue confirmed they were back assisting on the ground.
Ashley is described as 5’4” tall, approximately 115 pounds, and was last known to be wearing pink leggings and a grey sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and quote file 2025-15816.
