🚨 Human Remains Located Off Riverside Drive Identified as Missing Timmins Man Marc Renaud

The Timmins Police Service has confirmed that human remains discovered in a wooded area off Riverside Drive on September 22, 2025, at approximately 1:21 p.m., belong to Marc Renaud, who was reported missing on February 19, 2024. The next of kin has been notified.

The investigation involved coordination with the coroner’s office, forensic anthropologist, and OPP Canine Unit. A comprehensive forensic examination and DNA analysis were conducted to positively identify the remains.

Following a thorough investigation, no foul play is suspected, and the case has been closed.

The Timmins Police Service extends sincere condolences to Marc Renaud’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Police thank forensic professionals, investigative partners, and community members who provided information and support throughout the investigation.
