Police say a body found on Tuesday afternoon in the north end of Saint John has been identified as Courtney MacKenzie.
The body of the 27-year-old woman was found inside a building on Victoria Street.
MacKenzie was reported missing to the Saint John Police Force on May 8th.
Police say the Major Crime Unit is waiting for autopsy results and will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mackenzie’s death.
In a news release, the Saint John Police Force sent condolences to her family and friends.
