The Toronto Police Service’s Missing Person Unit continue to ask for the public’s help with an historic missing woman investigation.
Anne-Marie LaForest was last seen in 2004. She was known to be in the Greater Toronto Area as well as Peterborough and Buckhorn area.
She was reported missing by her family to the Toronto Police Service in 2019. Continued efforts to locate Anne-Marie LaForest has led investigators to believe residents of the Peterborough and Buckhorn area may have more information as Anne-Marie was a local hairdresser in the area.
Anne-Marie, who is now 62 years old, is described as having a fair complexion, 5’5”, 110 lbs., with straight blonde hair, light green eyes, pierced ears, and she is bilingual.
With the assistance of a forensic artist, Toronto Police Service has compiled two composite photos of what Anne-Marie may look like presently, in addition a photo of Anne-Marie – taken prior to 2004 – is also provided.
Police are concerned for the safety of Ms. LaForest and would urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to please contact police.
