A tragic end in the search for a missing 16-year-old youth on Lake of the Woods.
Provincial Police have ended the search in the Town Island area and sadly, Juan Miguel Tan (Rondilla) was found deceased.
The teen was last seen on July 3 around 1 in the morning, at a campsite, and was reported missing shortly after.
That prompted a massive search involving the OPP Northwest Region Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Marine Unit, and a helicopter.
The family is thanking OPP for their work and assistance, and the community for all of their support.
Foul play is not suspected, and the family is asking for privacy, so no further information will be released.
