A 93-year-old man who was reported missing has been found dead, according to his family.
Raul Burchi was last seen on Sunday, December 9. Police issued an alert several days later asking the public to help them locate him.
On Sunday, December 16, a family member posted on Facebook that Burchi had been found and had passed away.
The Regina police have yet to issue an update.
A missing vulnerable person emergency advisory alert has been issued to include all of southern Saskatchewan.
Raul Burchi, a 93-year-old man, was last seen on Dec. 9 at approximately 8 p.m. in the 2100-block of Heseltine Road in Regina. Burchi is described as male, fair complexion, 5’6” tall, and weighs 150 pounds. He has a thin build, with short grey hair and blue eyes.
Burchi was last seen wearing a long navy blue winter jacket, a white collared shirt, light brown or grey pants, black shoes and might be wearing glasses. Burchi drives a white 2015 four-door Subaru Impreza with Saskatchewan license plate 160 EWR.
This vehicle does not have tinted windows and has silver rims. There is a possibility that Burchi may have travelled outside of Regina. Police are attempting to locate Burchi to ensure he is safe.
According to earlier information from the Regina Police Service, it is unusual for so much time to have passed without hearing from him. Police are attempting to locate Burchi to ensure he is safe.
