A child reporting missing in Haliburton County on Thursday is now safe with family.
OPP officers were called just after 12:00 noon to respond to a report of a child missing from a school in Wilberforce, west of Bancroft.
Officers from the Haliburton Highlands and Bancroft detachments were joined by members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, OPP Central Region Canine and OPP Emergency Response Teams in that response.
Police received information from a community member that they saw the child, who was located a short time later.
