BC RCMP Seek Information Following Attempted Child Luring Instance in Dawson Creek on October 22nd, 2022




Police in Dawson Creek are asking for the public’s help after a young girl was approached by an unknown woman in a vehicle on Friday…

Police say on October 22, 2022 at approximately 8:40 AM, RCMP members were alerted to an unusual interaction between a young girl and a woman in the area of 17th Street and 85th Avenue.

The woman repeatedly offered the girl a ride to school, but the girl declined.

The woman in question is approximately 40 years-old and was driving an early 2000s white four-door sedan with a large dent and scratches on the rear passenger side quarter panel.

Police are looking to speak with the woman driving the vehicle or anyone who may have information about the woman or vehicle.

The Dawson Creek RCMP also urge parents to speak with their children about practicing safety when interacting with strangers, especially with the upcoming Halloween season.
