The male accused connected to today’s Amber Alert (Tuesday, May 16) has been taken into custody, and the abducted child has been located and is safe.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Containment Team and Emergency Task Unit, following an exhaustive search that included assistance from the OPP’s Aviation Services and OPP’s Emergency Response Team, located Christopher Daniel POULIN, 28, in a rural area of the city’s northside at about 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16.
He was arrested without incident and is expected to appear in bail court on Wednesday, May 17. He faces charges of:
Abduction
Forcible Confinement
Breach of Release Order
