York Police appeal for mother of abandoned baby in Sutton, Ontario to contact them

A newborn baby boy was left outside a fire station in Georgina.

He was found around 3 a.m. Tuesday by fire fighters in Sutton.

The baby, which police believe is just days old, is in good health.

He was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The children’s aid society has been called.

York police want to make sure the mother is okay and they’re asking her to get any medical attention she may need and call them at 1-866-876-5423 extension 7341.
