The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a woman wanted in an Attempt Abduction investigation.
On Saturday, February 17, 2024, at approximately 12:05 p.m., police responded to a call for an assault in the Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
the suspect followed the two victims who were walking their dog
the victims also had their small child with them
the suspect attempted to take their small child from a baby carrier backpack
one of the victims attempted to intervene and the suspect assaulted the victim
The woman is described as white, early 50’s, 5’2’’, thin build, with grey hair. She was wearing a long black coat, a pink toque, pink gloves, grey sweatpants, and black boots with white soles.
