🚨 Woman Forcibly Taken in Wichita — Police Seek Help Identifying Victim
Police in Kansas are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who was seen on surveillance footage being forcibly taken by an unidentified man early Sunday morning.
The Wichita Police Department says the incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday in the 1400 block of North Volutsia in Wichita. The exact circumstances leading up to the apparent abduction remain unclear.
“At this time, we have not been able to identify the female and male seen in the video,” said the department in a public update. “We are exploring all options and have reached out to our regional and federal law enforcement partners for additional assistance.”
Authorities have also enhanced the video’s audio, reducing background noise in hopes someone might recognize the woman’s voice.
