Toronto Police seek assistance identifying man wanted in Forcible Confinement investigation

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in an Assault and Forcible Confinement of a child.

It is alleged that:

– on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a suspicious incident in the Bloor Street West and Royal York Road area.

– a 14-year-old girl was inside a subway station

– she was approached by a man

– he put his arms around her and spoke to her while escorting her in his direction

– the girl asked the man to let her go

– a citizen observed the interaction and intervened by pulling the girl away from the man

– the man left the area

The man is described white, medium build, clean shaven, short white hair, wearing black baseball cap with a design/sticker on top of the brim, black pants, a black hoodie, black puffer vest, black Puma shoes with white Puma stripe logo, carrying a blue duffle/messenger bag with black strap.
