A days-long search across Nova Scotia for a missing Antigonish County woman ended Monday with the discovery of her body .
Diane LeBlanc, 78, had dementia and diabetes. She left her family home in Havre Boucher on Friday.
RCMP announced her death Monday evening but provided no other information other than to say that “the investigation is ongoing, with assistance of the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office.”
LeBlanc had been driving a 2017 white Chevy Equinox that she taken from home.
“We’re getting to the point she must be out of gas,” said her son, Albert LeBlanc, earlier Monday before the search ended..
