Update: The Alberta RCMP in Red Deer are advising the public that child’s family has been located. Thank you for helping by sharing the message.

ORIGINAL:

Red Deer RCMP are currently looking for the family of a young child that was located alone at Hunting Hills High School on Lockwood Avenue in Red Deer just before 9 am on May 30, 2025.

Despite canvasing the area, police say they have been unable to locate the child’s family and no reports of a missing child have been made at this time.

The child is described as;

Approximately 5 years old;
Medium complexion;
4 feet tall;
Wearing matching orange, grey, white Hot Wheels shirt and shorts with Champion written across the front. White shoes and a blue and grey back pack.
