A family who “may have gone off-roading” west of Alberta’s capital has been missing since Dec. 23, RCMP say.
Mounties said in a release sent Monday that they are looking for Kelly and Laura Pelsma and their eight-year-old son, Dylan, who were last seen Saturday in Lac Ste. Anne County, which is 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton.
They describe the vehicle as a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) side-by-side black Can Am Maverick Turbo.
“Their intended destination was unknown,” the news release reads.
Kelly is described as being 5’9″ tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Laura is described as being 5’4″ tall, 125 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
And Dylan is described as being 4’9″ tall, 90 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Kelly appeared on the Canadian reality TV show “Licence To Drill.”
