Quesnel RCMP have arrested one adult man after safely locating a 10 year-old boy who had been reported missing.
Police first received reports of the missing boy at around 9:00 Thursday night, though the boy had not been seen since 11:00 that morning.
Witnesses reported seeing the boy riding his bike along Avery Avenue, alongside an adult male at around 3:30 that afternoon.
Through further investigation, police were able to determine the man’s identity, before paying him a visit at his home the next morning.
There, officers were able to locate the boy, who was safe and unharmed, and have the man arrested while they continue to investigate.
