🚨 Public Advisory: Two Attempted Abductions in Mission, BC – Suspect in White SUV
The Mission RCMP is alerting the public about two apparent attempted abductions that occurred between December 14 and 15, 2025, and is asking for any related information. File 2025-15879.
Sometime between 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, and 1:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, a woman was walking along Logan Avenue when a white SUV pulled up. The South Asian male driver asked her to perform a sexual act. When she refused and walked away, he exited the vehicle, allegedly assaulted her, and tried to pull her toward his vehicle. As she ran, he followed in the SUV and apparently bear sprayed her. She escaped without serious physical injuries.
Around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, another woman asked a bystander for help on 3rd Avenue between Murray Street and Horne Street. She reported that a South Asian man in a white SUV had asked her to perform a sexual act and then attempted to drag her toward his vehicle. She also escaped without serious injury and left before speaking with police.
Both women were from a vulnerable sector of the community, and it is unknown if they were targeted for this reason. There is no information confirming the suspect is from Mission; he may be from another community.
