Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 22 Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in an attempted child abduction investigation.
On Monday, February 11, 2019, at approximately 6:30 p.m. the victim, an 8 year old boy, was walking in the area of Creditview Parkway and Sandalwood Drive in the City of Brampton. At this time, the victim was approached by an unknown male in a black 4 door sedan who asked the boy if he wanted a ride home. The victim subsequently ran away.
The suspect is described as a middle aged male, South Asian, wearing a turquoise turban.
