The Owen Sound Police Service issued an urgent request for public assistance late Friday night in the search for missing 15-year-old Jillianne Dixon.
The Flesherton-area teen was last seen on April 28 at around 8 p.m. on Owen Sound’s upper east side and was reported missing the next day. She is described as being five feet, six inches tall with medium-length red hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing loose grey pants, a dark long-sleeved top with light circular designs, and dark socks. Police say she may be carrying a lavender-coloured hardshell Swiss Gear suitcase and a leopard-print crossbody bag.
She is known to have associations in the Greater Toronto Area.
Her family and police remain gravely concerned for her well-being and safety, the statement issued Friday night said.
