Victoria, BC – Today marks the five-year anniversary of the disappearance of Emma Fillipoff.

During the evening of November 28, 2012, VicPD was contacted about a woman acting in an unusual manner in front of the Empress Hotel.  Officers located Emma Fillipoff and spoke at length with her.   After ensuring her well-being, Emma was allowed to continue on her way.  A few hours later Emma was reported as missing and has not been heard from or seen since.

Emma’s disappearance continues to be actively investigated by our Major Crime Detectives. “We’re still receiving tips and we are hoping that we will receive that one tip that we need in order to locate Emma” said Detective Constable Dawndra Tolsma.  “Each tip that we receive is investigated and we encourage anybody with any information to contact us.”

If you see Emma Fillipoff, or have any information about where she may be, please contact the VicPD non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 or your local police department.  Information can also be anonymously provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
