🚨 Homicide Investigation: Ottawa Police Reclassify Corey Baldwin Disappearance as Murder – $75,000 Reward Offered
Ottawa Police have announced that the long-standing disappearance of Corey Baldwin, a 46-year-old white male from Greely, is now being treated as a homicide more than six years after he vanished. The decision comes amid new developments, though details are withheld due to the ongoing probe.
Baldwin was reportedly last seen in the Montréal area in April 2019, with investigators believing he may have made his way to British Columbia before being reported missing in December 2019. His remains have not been located. Baldwin, standing 5’10” and weighing 232 lbs, was bald with grey-blue eyes and had multiple tattoos on both arms, legs, and back.
A father of two young daughters, Baldwin would not have left his family without explanation, according to an earlier release. “Corey’s family, including his two daughters, have waited years for answers. The OPS is committed to finding those responsible and bringing closure to his loved ones,” police stated in a December 11, 2025 update.
A **$75,000 reward** is now offered for information leading to an arrest. The investigation remains active, with police urging anyone with tips—no matter how old—to come forward.
