Missing person Kalil Taha has been located and is safe.

The Ottawa Police Major Crime Unit has received some tips and images from the public since yesterday’s media release of missing 18-year-old Kilal Taha.

The investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying and speaking to the owners/drivers of the two vehicles. (See above photos)

Kilal was last seen Monday morning at 7:30 a.m., leaving for work in his vehicle, described as a 2006 black Ford Focus hatchback. His vehicle was located by police, southbound on the Airport Parkway by the Walkley Road exit, shortly after 9:20 a.m. The engine was still running.

He is described as a Middle Eastern male, 5’10” (178 cm), slender build with short dark hair.

Kilal was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey construction coat and brown boots.

Anyone who may have seen the vehicle or Mr. Taha in the area of Hunt Club Road and the Airport Parkway between 8:00 and 8:30 yesterday morning, or has any other information is asked to contact Ottawa Police Major Crime Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5493.

Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
