The Ottawa Police Service West District Investigations Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify two individuals involved in the theft of a vehicle and abduction on July 25th from a retail area in the 3100 block of Greenbank Road.
Between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 pm, two male suspects approached a woman seated in her vehicle. They forced their way into the vehicle where she was assaulted and then forced to drive through Barrhaven, to Prince of Wales Drive, then onto Highway 416 southbound. The victim suffered minor injuries.
At approximately 2:45 pm the suspects forced the victim to stop the vehicle on the side of the highway. They exited the vehicle and fled on foot northbound on Highway 416 south of Prince of Wales Drive overpass.
Suspect 1 is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, tall, with messy blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a light-coloured t-shirt and blue jeans.
Suspect 2 is described as a white male, 20-30 years old and shorter than suspect 1. He was last seen wearing black pajama-style pants.
No photos of the two suspects are available at this time.
