🚨 OPP Conducting Landfill Search Related to Rebecca FUDGE-SCHNARR Investigation – Iroquois Falls, Ontario
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be conducting a search of the Nellie Lake landfill site in Iroquois Falls in relation to an ongoing investigation.
On Tuesday, November 24, 2022, Rebecca FUDGE-SCHNARR was last seen at her parents’ residence on Moffat Road in Iroquois Falls. She was only 17 years old at the time. Rebecca was described as having long blonde hair, wearing glasses, a hoodie, a jean jacket, grey boots and carrying a white, floral-patterned bag.
Beginning Thursday, July 10, 2025, the OPP will be searching the Nellie Lake landfill site in Iroquois Falls to further this investigation. The OPP and the Municipality of Iroquois Falls are requesting the public’s cooperation during this time. While the landfill remains open, with an alternative dumping site for the public, police are asking the public to stay away from the area being searched, to ensure officers can conduct a thorough investigation.
The investigation is on-going with the OPP South Porcupine Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

🚨 L’OPP mène une fouille au site d’enfouissement de Nellie Lake dans le cadre de l’enquête sur la disparition de Rebecca FUDGE-SCHNARR – Iroquois Falls (Ontario)
La Police provinciale de l’Ontario (OPP) effectuera une fouille du site d’enfouissement de Nellie Lake à Iroquois Falls dans le cadre d’une enquête en cours.
Le mardi 24 novembre 2022, Rebecca FUDGE-SCHNARR a été vue pour la dernière fois au domicile de ses parents sur le chemin Moffat à Iroquois Falls. Elle n’avait que 17 ans à l’époque. Rebecca a été décrite comme ayant de longs cheveux blonds, portant des lunettes, un chandail à capuchon, une veste en jean, des bottes grises et un sac blanc à motif floral.
À partir du jeudi 10 juillet 2025, l’OPP entreprendra une fouille du site d’enfouissement de Nellie Lake à Iroquois Falls pour faire progresser l’enquête. L’OPP et la municipalité d’Iroquois Falls demandent la coopération du public pendant cette période. Bien que le site d’enfouissement demeure ouvert, avec un site alternatif disponible pour le public, la police demande aux citoyens de rester à l’écart de la zone fouillée afin de permettre aux agents de mener une enquête approfondie.
L’enquête se poursuit avec l’unité des crimes de South Porcupine, sous la direction de la Direction des enquêtes criminelles de l’OPP.
