LOCATED DECEASED – OPP searching for missing man, dog in Napanee, Ontario – Mark Badgley, 56 & Teegan

Ontario Provincial Police announced they have found the body of a man they had reported as missing in the Napanee area last week.

Mark Badgley, 56, was last seen with his German shepherd, Teegan, in the early morning on Feb. 10. They were heading out for a hike near County Road 9 and Big Creek Road in Napanee. The area includes a small waterway that flows into Hay Bay.

The OPP said they conducted an extensive ground search throughout the week and found Badgley in the water on Wednesday.

“The death is not considered suspicious,” the OPP said.

Teegan has not been located.
