Members of the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a complaint involving an unknown person who approached an elementary student Wednesday at a school bus stop on Highway 94 in East Ferris.
The unknown person is described as a male, 30 to 40 years-of-age, wearing a blue shirt and grey transparent glasses. The person had a cut on the bridge of his nose and was wearing a mask.
That person advised the student that the bus was cancelled and the students’ mother asked him to take the student back home.
The student was able to run home, lock the doors and then observed the person leave in a vehicle.
The vehicle is described as; a white four door vehicle (unknown type), which had rust on the bottom of the doors, a large scratch on the rear passenger door, a smaller scratch on the front passenger door, the front passenger headlight was broken, the rear taillight was in the shape of a triangle and there was something black inside the vehicle.
The OPP is continuing the investigation.
