London police say they’ve located the mother of a newborn baby that was found on a stranger’s front porch this week.
Police say there is no longer a concern for her wellbeing.
“We would like to thank the public for their compassion and engagement in this situation. Thankfully, everyone is safe. As the investigation progresses, we will be limited in what information can be provided to respect the privacy of everyone involved” said Detective Inspector Sean Travis, of the London Police Service Investigative Services Branch.
London police continue to investigate, and additional information will be shared as appropriate.
