🚨 Missing Woman – June 30, 2002 – Nanaimo, BC
📌 Description
Lisa Marie Young was a 21-year-old Indigenous woman who vanished under suspicious circumstances in the early hours of June 30, 2002, in Nanaimo, British Columbia. She had been out celebrating a friend’s birthday, visiting nightclubs and later attending a house party.
Lisa was last seen getting into a red Jaguar driven by a man named Christopher William Adair. He had been offering rides that night and reportedly took Lisa to get food. Shortly after, Lisa made a disturbing phone call to a friend, saying she was stuck and couldn’t leave. She was never seen or heard from again.
Despite extensive searches by the RCMP, no physical evidence or remains have ever been found. Lisa’s case is considered suspicious and is believed to involve foul play. She is presumed dead, and her disappearance is being treated as a homicide.
Christopher Adair was interviewed by police early in the investigation but has never been charged. He remains a person of interest. As of recent reports, Adair has been living abroad, including in Turkey and the Philippines, where he reportedly runs an immigration consulting firm. Lisa’s family continues to plead for information and justice.
