On April 27, York Regional Police announced that the body of a woman who had been reported missing since February 8 was found in Toronto.
The woman, 18-year-old Sol Mejia-Mesa, was last seen near Hwy. 7 and Millway Avenue in Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station. The YRP issued a missing person notice on February 9, and made another call for assistance on April 12.
According to a news release issued by the YRP on April 27, the Toronto Police Service notified them that Mejia-Mesa had been found dead. However, her death is not considered suspicious.

Sol MEJIA-MESA was last seen on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m. at the Vaughan Metro Station located in the area of Highway 7 and Millway Avenue. Her absence and not returning home are out of character for her.
Her family and police are concerned for her well-being.
