The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Sarah Rekrut, who was reported missing by her family on March 2, 2022. Investigators were told by her family that they have not had any contact with Rekrut for almost 2 years.
Investigators have confirmed that the last confirmed sighting of Rekrut was on January 16, 2022, in central Nanaimo. Prior to that, Rekrut was seen a number of times in May of 2021 in downtown Nanaimo. Currently it is unknown where she is residing.
Rekrut is a Caucasian woman, 5ft. 5, 125 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. The picture provided was taken in 2021 and her appearance may have changed since then.
