Police have confirmed the identities of the two people found dead in Dawson Creek on Saturday.
The RCMP’s Major Crimes Division confirmed to CJDC-TV News that the deceased, found in the 1200 block of 118th Avenue, are 40-year-old Tina (Christina) Nellis and 42-year-old Roy (Adam) Isley.
Nellis and Isley had not been heard from since last Wednesday and were reported missing to the Dawson Creek RCMP. At the time, police said the two live “high risk life styles” and there was concern for their safety.
Police have now confirmed they are treating the deaths as homicides. The “E” Division Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation.
When asked if there are any suspects, police were unable to comment.
Sources have confirmed to CJDC-TV news that the residence where Nellis and Isley were found is the same one where shots were fired back in July. In that incident, one person was later arrested after a high-speed chase.
