A Southwestern Ontario teen reported missing from a high school last week has been found dead, provincial police say.
Huron OPP appealed Friday for help finding the 16-year-old, identified only as Hunter, last seen walking near Goderich District Collegiate Institute on South Street about 10:40 a.m.
Police released a photo of Hunter – described as six-foot-three and slim, with brown hair and eyes – and asked Goderich residents and business owners to check their properties and review surveillance camera footage.

The missing teen was found dead Tuesday, said police, who offered no other details.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious, and no foul play is suspected,” a police release said. “The OPP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance during this investigation.”
News of the discovery circulated quickly on social media, where the teen’s friends and Goderich residents had posted appeals, including photos and other details, for information on his whereabouts.
“RIP Hunter my deepest condolences to his family and friends you will be deeply missed fly high #Forever16,” Facebook user Destiny Furness wrote.
