A missing woman from Merlin has been found deceased.
Chatham-Kent police issued an update on Monday afternoon saying Debra Parker, 69, was found deceased and her death was now being handled by the Coroner’s Office.
Police said foul play is not suspected at this time.
Earlier in the day, Chatham-Kent police said Parker was last seen in Merlin on Sunday, April 23 at around 8 a.m. and we’re asking the public for help in finding her because they were concerned for her well-being.
“The Chatham-Kent Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this unfortunate incident,” wrote police in a news update.

Debra is described as a Caucasian female, 5’4”, 165lbs, with Grey hair and blue/green eyes. Debra was last seen wearing white running shoes and not wearing a coat.
Police have concerns for her well-being.
