A missing Oakville man who disappeared suddenly has been found dead, Halton police confirmed Friday (Oct. 1).

Robert MacDougall, 63, who went missing on Thursday in the area of Third Line and Rebecca Street, was found Friday morning.

Halton police confirmed the death and are not providing additional information beyond that.

Police thanked the public for their help.
