🚨 Missing Man in Ottawa, Ontario – Winston Reid, 81, Missing Since Aug. 12, 2025
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 81-year-old Winston Reid, who was last seen on August 12, 2025, in the 600 block of Eagleson Road.
Mr. Reid is described as a 6’1, Black man with a large build, short salt-and-pepper hair and a salt-and-pepper beard. There are concerns for Mr. Reid’s well-being.
Police believe Mr. Reid could be in the Bridlewood area and are asking people who live and work in the area to keep an eye out. If you have a property that backs on to the TransCanada and Old Quarry Trail, please check your backyard.
They are asking the public to review any video footage they may have, including doorbell cameras, dashcams, bicycle-mounted cameras, and trail cameras specifically in the following areas:
- The intersection of Eagleson Road and Michael Copeland Drive north to Hazeldean Road
- East along Robertson Road into Bells Corners
- Properties that back onto the Trans Canada Trail
