Police say Sasa Spasojevic, a 52-year-old Hamilton man who was reported missing on Tuesday, was found dead.
The Hamilton Police Service made the public announcement through its official Twitter account at 6:17 a.m. on Wednesday.
Spasojevic had last been seen Monday morning in the area of Queenston Rd. and Woodman Dr. — near the Red Hill Valley Parkway in Stoney Creek.
Drones were deployed by law enforcement around the area on Tuesday in an attempt to locate him.
“Hamilton Police are sad to inform the public that Sasa Spasojevic was located deceased in Hamilton,” police tweeted. “Thoughts are with the family, friends and community during this difficult time.”
Police had said they and Spasojevic’s family were concerned for his well-being.

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in finding Sasa Spasojevic, a missing 52-year-old man from Hamilton.
Police say Sasa was last seen on Monday at around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Queenston Rd. and Woodman Dr. in Hamilton.
He is described as Caucasian, six-foot-four, thin build, brown eyes, straight brown hair and wears glasses.
Police and family are concerned for his well-being.
