Hamilton police have located a missing person.
In a sad update Friday afternoon, Hamilton police shared on Twitter that Gilles Godin, a 55-year-old Hamilton man missing since Jan. 11, had been found deceased.
“Thank you to everyone who shared the post and contacted police with information. Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time,” the tweet read.
Police do not consider the death to be suspicious.

Hamilton Police are requesting the assistance of the public in locating missing person Gilles Godin.
He was last seen leaving his residence in Hamilton on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 around 6:00 a.m.
Gilles Godin is described as:
Male white
5’11” tall
Approx 200 Ibs
Brown hair with a beard that is dyed black
Tattoos on his right bicep and shoulder
He is believed to have access to his vehicle which described as:
2017 white Honda Accord
Ontario Plate CFRY 033
Police and family are concerned for his wellbeing.
