Update: The Halton Regional Police Service said in a release that Juan Martinez has been found dead.

Halton police are searching for a 21-year-old man who last seen in Burlington on New Year’s Day.
Juan Martinez of Burlington was last spotted near the intersection of Brant Street and Upper Middle Road on Jan. 1, say police.
He has brown eyes, dark curly hair and is five feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds with a muscular build.
Martinez was last seen wearing a beige and black North Face jacket.
Halton police are urging anyone who sees Martinez to call 911.
