RCMP are searching for a missing southeastern Alberta man who had expressed interest in travelling to southwestern Saskatchewan before his disappearance.
Clayton Albert Peter Martens from the Redcliff area was last seen on January 14 at approximately 10 p.m. at a residence in the area of Range Road 70 and Range Road 71. The 38-year-old had shown interest in travelling to the Maple Creek area, however, it’s unknown the method of transportation he’d use.
The Redcliff RCMP said Martens has a light skin complexion, stands 5-foot-9, weighs about 200 pounds with a medium build, blue eyes, short brown hair, a beard and a mustache, a scar above his right eye, a geometric/smokey sleeve tattoo on his left arm, and was last spotted wearing a hoodie and jeans.
Mounties are requesting community members from the area to check their properties, sheds, or outbuildings as they’re worried for his safety and well-being.
Anyone who’s spotted Martens or knows his whereabouts is asked by the Redcliff RCMP at 403-548-2222 or your local police.
