UPDATE:
A local search for a missing Brampton man has ended with the discovery of his body in the Algonquin Ave. area of the city.
“The North Bay Police Service has located missing person Marcus, age 51, deceased,” said a police news release. His last name has not been released by police.
Marcus was reported missing to the Peel Regional Police Service on August 4. He was last seen by family in Brampton on July 29. Marcus was also seen at a gas station in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 30.
The North Bay Police Service found Marcus’s vehicle in North Bay in the parking lot of Giant Tiger on Algonquin Ave. Investigation revealed that Marcus had been seen leaving his vehicle on July 30 at 7 a.m. and walking towards Taco Bell on Algonquin.
Today police stepped up the search.
This morning city police and the OPP searched the area of Thibeault Hill (Highway 11 North, Airport Road, and McKeown Avenue).
“The search resulted in the location of Marcus, who was deceased. No foul play is suspected,” say police.

The North Bay Police say a car belonging to a 51-year-old missing man named Marcus has been found in North Bay.
He was reported missing to the Peel Regional Police Service on August 4. Family last saw him in Brampton on July 29. then he was seen again on Tuesday, July 30 at a gas station in Sudbury,
Police have not released his last name.

White skin
Height: Approximately 5’10”
Medium Build
Short red hair and red beard
Wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, grey cargo shorts, black reading glasses, and carrying a black and green backpack
Police and family are concerned about his well-being.
