Manitoba First Nations Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old, Skyler LAPORTE. LAPORTE was last seen on April 20th in the morning hours. LAPORTE was leaving a residence on Ojibway Trail in Long Plain First Nation and was supposed to be heading to Winnipeg. LAPORTE was reported missing to police on July 24th after family have grown concerned about his wellbeing.
LAPORTE is described as First Nations, 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 161 pounds, medium build with short dark colored hair. It is not known what LAPORTE was last wearing, only that he got into a small Chevrolet Cavailier type car.
Police are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact Manitoba First Nations Police Service, Long Plain Detachment at 204-252- 4480.
