The Maskwacis RCMP has provided an update that Jalaine Potts has been found deceased and her death is not deemed criminal in nature.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends,” said RCMP media relations.

The Maskwacis RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing youth.
Jalaine Potts, age 17, was last seen on the afternoon of May 13 on Montana First Nation, Maskwacis, Alberta.
At the time she was last seen, Potts was wearing at blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
Potts is described as:
– Medium complexion
– Shoulder length black hair
– Brown eyes
– 5’8” tall (172 cm)
– 130lbs (59kg)
There is general concern for the well being of Potts and anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Maskwacis RCMP at 780-585-3767.
