A 38-year-old man who allegedly tried to grab a child in East York has been arrested.
Police say the man approached an adult caregiver and a minor in the Taylor Creek Park and Lumsden Avenue area around 4 p.m. on July 11. The man then attempted to grab the child before the caregiver pulled them away. The man then fled the area.
No physical injuries were reported.
Police have arrested Arunraj Perinparajah of Toronto and charged him with one count of assault.
