Police have arrested a man after an attempted child abduction in Hamilton Thursday afternoon.
Police say a man attempted to lure a three-year-old child away from his mother around 12:17 p.m. in the Mary St. and Cannon St. E. area.
34-year-old Abdalla Mahamed Yaya was arrested and charged with abduction of person under the age of 14.
