Kamloops RCMP is asking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest.
In a news release, police say officers were told of a man who appeared to be filming in the children’s section of the Thompson Nicola Regional Library on the North Shore at around 1:00 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 1). The man reportedly left quickly when he was confronted by staff.
The man is described as between 50 to 60 years old with dark and grey hair that’s balding on top. He’s also described as heavy set and speaks in broken English.
He was wearing a dark jacket, blue pants and white running shoes.
